As a vibrant new voice in Latin music, Vinny Uno is an artist whose engaging charisma mirrors his creative dedication. With his song craft, Vinny creates tracks that are patently hook-driven, aligning tantalizing melodies and expressive lyrics to the seductive rhythms of reggaetón.

Vinny and his support team have showcased his persuasive vocals with a masterfully produced EP, No Love, multiple YouTube performance videos and an expanding social media presence.

A native of Hawthorne, CA, and a first-generation Californian, in his earliest musical endeavors as a young teen he performed pop music in English. “But I wasn’t feeling it,” Vinny recalls. While his sound draws influences from modern pop and hip-hop, it was his connection to his family’s roots in Jalisco, Mexico and the legacy of Latin music that connected his artistry. “I sing in Spanish, my first language,” he confirms.

The youngest child in what he describes as a protective family, from age five, Vinny was on track to be a professional soccer player. When a devastating ankle injury ended these athletic aspirations, he shifted his focus to entertainment with the same competitive spirit that drove him on the soccer field. Enrolling in classes to school to learn the finer points of voice, acting and modeling, he discovered that music lit the fire.

With an outgoing and audience-pleasing personality, Vinny Uno brings a welcome humility to his artistry. Given his undeniable visual appeal, it is no surprise that his social media fan base skews predominantly female. “I get that a lot,” he laughs. “I try to make songs that are more sensitive – that’s how I do it.”​

Now with a new label home, Joyas Musicales, Vinny is poised to deliver enticingly romantic reggaetón to the world.
